Although the DB2 was originally designed for outdoor use, it has quickly become a very popular indoor antenna due to its small size and extraordinary gain. The bowtie design provides strong gain across the entire UHF spectrum and it functions incredibly well in areas where a low profile antenna is required. In fact the DB2 was recently named "The highest performing indoor antenna" from HDTV Primer. Range 1 - 30 miles distance
With this DB2 antenna you can have all the free "over the air" HDTV channels, with at least 90% reception, often without an amplifier. |
This is a small multi-directional antenna and yields a beam width of about 80 degrees. It achieves a high gain of up to 11.4 dB and is ideal for UHF channels 14-69. It is simply great for indoor, outdoor, and attic use. The dimensions are a decent 12" H x 19" W x 4" Deep and it weighs only 2.8 pounds. This antenna has a 90 degree beam width.
The DB2 comes with 1 set of reflectors, 1 set of 2 elements with transformer and weather boot, 2 sets of 4" bolts with aluminum sleeves and 1 Mast clamp. It is very easy to install this antenna in three simple steps. Just make sure the assembled DB2 elements (bowties) are facing transmitting towers. This is a directional antenna. You can set it and forget it and get all your stations. It also is less prone to interference, so there are fewer glitches.
